Blog Critic Magazine says "a band out of Ottawa has been churning out some catchy, crunchy, melodic rock for the past few years and has just released a new album. Twelve34 have their feet firmly planted in straight-ahead, arena-tinged rock. Eric St-Cyr was interviewed live by DJ Matty Grant on iRock109.com's Extreme Velocity show on 19 January 2008. Also, played on the show were 4 tracks from "The Only Cure".

Keith Fraser says "The Only Cure has found a long lost remedy for the dead eared modern music fan. From the first blast of cymbals and raw guitar, the hammer, anvil, and stirrup buffet the ear drum to awaken a once thought misplaced treasure, true rock and roll. Eric the Intern from Ottawa's Chez 106FM was on-hand at twelve34's CD release party on 29 October 07. Check out his blog, aptly entitled "The Making of a Band" here to read a review of the night.

Garageband.com awarded the song "Left Me So Cold" for "Most Rocking Track " in the Indie Rock category and "I Won't Forget You" won for "Best Male Vocals" in the Rock category.
