About Tripchord:
Based in Toronto, Ontario, Tripchord formed in early 2000 and has been a major force in Toronto's independent music scene ever since. Never slowing down, but always taking the time to nurture their music has made this band a "must see" show. With a unique blend of musicians, Tripchord has been able to produce an original style of hard rock, metal and funk. A successful CD release at 102.1 The Edge in 2003 opened many doors and allowed the band to venture onto the radio waves.... more

Tripchord's "Sick With Hate" won 2008 Single Of The Year at ImageFM's anniversary bash in Hamilton, Ontario on 10 January 2009.

"Surviving the System" hits #5 on London, Ontario's CHRW 94.9 FM Metal charts. (Feb 07)

"Surviving the System" is currently charting at #7 on Kamloops' CFBX 92.5 FM Loud top 10 Charts (Feb 07).

"Absolute Underground" newspaper says "this CD has enough small hooks to catch an octopus but don't look for them in lucid waters; they prefer to be under a thick black oil slick of corrosive angst."
