FEATURED ARTIST ::
Steve Negus has been called "Lord of the Drums" for his contribution to Canadian prog rock band SAGA for over 25 years and 17 studio albums. After leaving SAGA, he began writing new material and re-working material previously written for SAGA. Aptly called "Dare to Dream", the album is comprised of 11 tracks drawn from years of material written during and after the Saga-era and is a very personal reflection on his career to date and in looking towards the future. Featuring a guest appearance by Jim Gilmour of Saga fame and also veterans Al Langlade and Mark Severn (who died shortly after the project was completed), the album is diverse and compelling, drawing the listener in with complex rhythms, insightful lyrics and catchy hooks. Steve has also recorded with Chris de Burgh, Rupert Hine, The Nylons, Liona Boyd and was part of GNP with fellow Saga band mate Jim Gilmour and Red Rider bassist Jeff Jones....more

Cyclone Signs "Where's the Nine" ft. Barry Connors of Coney Hatch
|
Barry Connors, the percussive force behind such bands as Coney Hatch, Lee Aaron and Toronto has teamed up with virtuoso Dean Watson to present a phenomenal, instrumental progressive mix that finds and nurtures a passion that answers to no one.
Where's the Nine will be releasing their debut CD, "Desensitized to Insanity", on 1 October 2008. With a diverse mix of jazz, rock, fusion and progressive elements that hints of such greats as Yes, UK, Rush, Triumvirat, FM, this music comes to life with a character all its own. This is not merely a collection of songs, it is a story, a journey that must be travelled time and again to fully appreciate all its twists and turns.
