Steve Negus, the powerhouse behind the multi-platinum selling prog rock band Saga for over 20 years has now released a solo project that captures his signature drumming in uncompromising style. Aptly called "Dare to Dream", the album is comprised of years of material written during the Saga-era and after and is a very personal reflection on his career to date and in looking forward towards the future.

Steve also recorded with a wide range of other artists such as Chris de Burgh, The Nylons, Liona Boyd and Rupert Hine.

Steve Negus has the honour of being nominated for Drummer of the Year at the 2009 Hamilton Music Awards being held 6 December 2009. "Dare to Dream" is also nominated for Rock Recording of the Year. You can read more about the event here.
